Past Events in Action
We have managed permitting and agency coordination for some of the most complex, high-profile events ever held in Washington, D.C. — from championship parades and concerts on the National Mall to activations that shut down the entire city.
Washington Capitals Stanley Cup Championship Parade
Constitution Ave NW to the National Mall | 500,000 Attendees
When the Washington Capitals won the first Stanley Cup Championship in franchise history, DC needed a parade worthy of the moment. The route ran along Constitution Avenue from 17th Street NW to 7th Street NW, culminating in a rally on the National Mall with the US Capitol as a backdrop.
We managed full permitting and multi-agency coordination across the Mayor's Office, National Park Service, DC Metropolitan Police, US Park Police, D.C. Department of Transportation, and D.C. Department of Public Works — including complete street closures, a military flyover, and a security and crowd management plan for 500,000 attendees.
HBO Concert for Valor
National Mall | 800,000 Attendees |
Live on HBO
A free, nationally televised Veterans Day concert on the National Mall — one of the largest events ever held on the Mall. The three-hour event featured Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, Rihanna, Metallica, Dave Grohl, Carrie Underwood, and the Black Keys, with appearances by Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, and Steven Spielberg.
Permitting a footprint of this scale between the Capitol and Washington Monument required coordination with the NPS, US Park Police, D.C. Metropolitan Police, Homeland Security, and DC Department of Transportation — with crowd management and traffic control plans for up to 800,000 attendees, comparable to a presidential inauguration.
Nike Women's Half Marathon

13.1-Mile Monument Corridor Route
One of the largest women's road races ever held in the nation's capital. The course started on Pennsylvania Avenue near the National Archives and wound past the US Capitol, the Smithsonian, the Jefferson Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the WWII Memorial, across the Arlington Memorial Bridge, and around Hains Point — passing through multiple overlapping federal and local jurisdictions.
We managed all permitting and agency coordination across the NPS, DC Metropolitan Police, US Park Police, DC Department of Transportation, DC Department of Health, and the Mayor's Special Event Task Group — including rolling road closures, multi-phase wave start logistics, and medical station placement across 13.1 miles.
